Carbon Capture

Our pongamia trees absorb large volumes of CO₂ in tropical and subtropical regions, turning degraded lands into natural carbon sinks. Each planted hectare helps mitigate climate change through regenerative, productive reforestation.

Silvopastoral Systems

At Pongamia Latam we integrate trees and livestock in the same ecosystem, creating balanced agroforestry models. This approach allows free grazing, reduces pressure on new territories, and minimizes impact from land-use change (ILUC).

Bioprotein Production

Pongamia fruits provide a sustainable source of plant protein for animal feed. Their cultivation avoids the deforestation associated with conventional agricultural protein sources and generates a product with a significantly smaller carbon footprint.

From the same trees, we obtain non-edible oils with some of the lowest carbon intensities available today. These oils are transformed into next-generation biofuels capable of replacing fossil petroleum and accelerating the transition to truly clean energy.
